Bladder tumors can be removed with a surgery called the transurethral resection of bladder tumor. During this surgery, your urologist will insert a resectoscope into the bladder. At the end of the resectoscope is a small electrical loop, which the doctor will then use to cut into the bladder wall through the tumor.
