2026 Better Than Live Summer Schedule

The Summer Surgery Program is a highly sought after two-week program. Over 300 applications were received for the two sessions offered during the summer. With its popularity, we introduced a second program, “Better Than Live” Summer Surgery. The Better Than Live Summer Surgery Program is a one-week session that completed its inaugural year in 2023.
Like the offerings of the Summer Surgery Program, our Better Than Live Summer Surgeons interact with team members representing all levels of medical experience. Better Than Live Summer Surgeons learn from UCI’s very own surgeons through semi-live surgery case discussions and receive the full benefit of mentorship in the process of becoming a medical professional.
Additionally, like the Summer Surgery Program, Better Than Live Summer Surgeons receive hands-on exposure and training on the worlds advanced surgical technology in Surgical Education Center.
